Williams feels things will click for Parkway

MIKEY Williams feels it is a matter of time before Plymouth Parkway begin to click under the management of new boss Chris McPhee and his assistant, Lee Peacock.

It is two defeats from two games for the Exeter City Academy coach, who succeeded Lee Hobbs as manager at Bolitho Park in the summer. But while that inauspicious start will not be what he wanted, Parkway are very much a team in transition right now and learning a new philosophy and way of playing under the former Brighton, Ebbsfleet and Torquay United striker.

Parkway started the season looking good in the first half of their opening day clash with Beaconsfield before falling away and ultimately losing 3-1. At Gloucester City in midweek, it was the opposite with Parkway 3-0 down on the hour mark before a rousing last half hour saw them almost complete a fine comeback, but ultimately losing 3-2.
