UCC should have consent of all communities, says Kejriwal

Ahmedabad:AAP convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said that the Gujarat government should make a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) which has the consent of all the communities.

The state government had on Saturday announced that it has decided to form a committee headed by a retired high court judge to implement UCC.

Speaking at Bhavnagar, Kejriwal questioned the intention of the BJP, stating that the announcement has been made with the upcoming state assembly election in mind.
