ONEPLUS 11 VS XIAOMI 13 PRO CAMERA TEST
Asian Photography|July 2023
The OnePlus 11 and Xiaomi 13 Pro are two popular smartphone models known for their impressive camera capabilities. In this review, we will compare the cameras of these devices to help you make an informed decision. It’s important to note that while the Xiaomi 13 Pro is a flagship model, the OnePlus 11 is not the highest-end version of OnePlus. However, since the Pro version is not currently available, we can consider the OnePlus 11 as the top-end model. This also reflects the price difference, with the OnePlus 11 starting at 57k while the Xiaomi 13 Pro is priced at 80k. Without further ado, let’s dive into the camera comparison.
ONEPLUS 11 VS XIAOMI 13 PRO CAMERA TEST

Daylight Main Camera

In daylight conditions, the results from both cameras are quite similar. The images appear sharp, well-saturated, and crisp.

However, there are slight differences in the image processing. The OnePlus 11 tends to slightly overexpose the face, making it look brighter, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro captures a more natural scene. Zooming in, the OnePlus 11 displays better sharpness and more details with enhanced highlights. Additionally, the Xiaomi 13 Pro smoothens the skin slightly.

When shooting colourful subjects, the OnePlus 11 maintains a more natural output that closely matches the original scene. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Pro makes the colours appear darker, and the image is slightly underexposed, affecting the overall performance of shadows and highlights. The lack of detail in the Xiaomi image is noticeable compared to the OnePlus 11.

Daylight Ultra-Wide Camera

In the ultra-wide camera category, the OnePlus 11 tends to overexpose the image slightly, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro captures a more natural scene. The exposure compensation on the OnePlus 11 results in a lighter blue colour for the shirt, whereas the 13 Pro accurately represents the shirt’s natural colour. However, when zooming in, both cameras exhibit mediocre performance in terms of detail and sharpness, especially on the face.

When shooting colourful subjects, the Xiaomi 13 Pro once again delivers more natural results, while the OnePlus 11 alters the appearance of the red colour. The performance of shadows and details is average for both cameras in this scenario.
