On April 21, 2023 at 9 pm EDT, Jupiter will enter rajasic Aries and join Rahu, the northern lunar node and shadow planet, under the aspect of Saturn transiting in Aquarius. This transit will occur on the heels of a total solar eclipse in Aries on April 20.
The eclipse will be visible in South/East Asia, Australia, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Antarctica.
Jupiter, the planet of divine knowledge, wealth, and highest wisdom, will be in Ashwini nakshatra with Rahu on the nodal axis of the 1st house (self, body, personal path) and 7th house (relationships, associates, social life) of the natural zodiac.
According to Maharishi Parashara, Jupiter has a large body, tawny hair, tawny eyes, is phlegmatic, intelligent, and learned in all the shastras (or scriptures).
As a friend of lord Mars, ruler of Aries, Jupiter would appear to be in a good position.
However, Jupiter's association with a malefic Rahu forms a so-called Guru Chandala yoga-or an astrological combination in which Jupiter's pure nature suffers, and Rahu benefits from the expansiveness and positivity of Jupiter.
