Arya Singh from Dark Don Racing in LGB Formula 4 nd Kyle Kumaran from DTS Racing in JK Tyre Novice Cup dominated the Round 1 of the 25" JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship at the Kari Motor Speedway in Chettiapalayam in September. The soaring heat did not deter the competitors who went about doing their job with earnest sweat. All they wanted to do was to make a strong first impression in the season's opening round of the Silver Jubilee edition. And, the sporting fans got to see some exciting action on both days, as Arya was on the podium for all the three races, he won the top slot in two and finished third in the final race of the day. Kyle was seen on the podium in all the four races, with a Triple top-podium finish and was second in Race 3.
LGB Formula 4:
The season started with 25 seasoned race drivers from across cities including Patiala, Nellore, Dehradun, Panchkula, Kottyam and Vadodara battling for the top glory. Team Dark Don dominated with powerful show in Race 1 led by Kolkata lad Arya Singh followed by Tijil Rao from Bengaluru in second position with a difference of half a second and Ashwin Datta from Chennai with a further difference of 0.623sec completed the podium. Ahura Racing's Amir Sayed came short of a podium finish while MSport's Ruhaan Alva, the defending Novice Cup champion, who upgraded to the LGB Formula 4 this year, gave an impressive performance as he finished among the Top-7.
After Aadithya's gutsy show, it was time for Arya Singh of Dark Don Racing to show his smartness and strength in the premier race. Arya won the opening race hands down the other day but this time around, he found the Ahura Racing stars Amir Sayed and Viswas Vijayaraj breathing down his neck. He did not see it coming so early in the race but defended his position well in the first two laps to gain
