I am in the heart of Goa's Anjuna in peak season and there is not one tourist (or anyone else) in sight. And that is true luxury in Goa today. This beautifully curated 12,000-sq ft, six-bedroom property is the pride of Ozzy Serrao, an ex-merchant navy captain. Originally conceptualised as his home, this is a labour of love that Serrao wanted to share with the world. Walk around the expansive light-filled space and you will find art, antiques, salvaged objects, books-all with a story attached to it-from all the places Serrao has been to, discovered and fallen in love with. The result is a mansion that blends Art-Deco with tropical modernism and oodles of personality.
