Home sweet home

Introducing pattern into your interiors has the power to completely transform a space – and give your home a unique selling point.
Wendy Moore
Home sweet home

My aim for interiors we feature is to smash the perception that to sell a home, you have to decorate “safely”. It’s simply not true and when you have a property like this, it’s more effective to lean into its hidden charms while giving the whole space a modern layout.

We transformed a completely original and untouched abode, still trapped in the ’70s, into a stunning haven of style by making the era the hero in a groovy, modern way. That meant bringing in pattern and colour to every room. This home was also crying out for some extra living space and an open-plan feel, so knocking down a wall between the kitchen and living area gave the sense of space it needed. Here’s how we did it.
