It’s expected to be one of the highlights of the reign of King Charles III. But the coronation of the new monarch isn’t just a chance for the Brits to show off the pomp and pageantry they do so well.
Instead, the King is determined his big moment will demonstrate just how different his time on the throne will be to his mother’s reign.
The historic event, to be held on May 6 and followed by two further days of celebrations, will focus on the diversity that makes up the United Kingdom, championing people from a range of backgrounds and ethnicities, and encouraging the public to volunteer in service of others.
