Hugh Jackman once claimed he and Deborra-Lee Furness had managed to maintain their 27-year marriage by being "really honest with each other".

And a Hollywood insider confirms honesty is the reason the pair stayed together so long - and the reason they've split!

"When they decided to break up, the most important thing was being truthful about their feelings," we're told. "It's something they've done before, having gone through couples counselling and doing regular reviews of their relationship.

"Lockdowns really put them to the test. Things have been strained and each year things seemed to get only worse. Hugh's not stupid and he sensed that Deb's heart wasn't in it any more.
