Born and brought up in Kerala, Ananth Vaidyanathan, set out on his journey in the hospitality industry at a very young age. Having completed his hotel management from IHM, Bangalore, his dream was to set up the finest chain of restaurants in India and abroad.

FOLLOWING HIS PASSION

In 1999, Ananth began his career as a steward in ‘Touch of Class’, a restaurant at Hotel Central Court, a well-known 4-star property in Hyderabad. He reveals, “I lost my parents at a very young age, so I always wanted to achieve something big. I wanted to work hard and be a great person. My mantra was simple: I always believe that if you are nice to someone, then somebody will always be nice to you.”

Soon after gaining invaluable experience, he moved to Mumbai, “I came to Mumbai thinking that I would go on a cruise. But I soon found out that it needed money, which I didn’t have. So I started working as a Captain in Juhu Gymkhana Club, Mumbai. And after four years, I became the General Manager,” he says.
