In this issue

On the cover is this generation’s certified ‘It’ girl, Rocio Zobel. The youngest daughter of Ińigo and Maricris Zobel has been featured on her own since the days we first covered her when her sister Natalia was at le Bal des Débutantes, and when it was her turn to be the debutante in 2019. We envision a future full of promise for this young lady, as we revel in the incredible shoot helmed by the amazing BJ Pascual, a testament to the potential and talent of our youth.
In this issue, we feature one of the most sought-after artists, Jigger Cruz, who will hold his one-man exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum this month. We spent some time with him and his lovely partner, Aira Hernandez, during the shoot and marvelled at his out-of-this-world creativity. We take a look at the movie trilogy of the Bayaniverse, featuring Heneral Luna, Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral and the recently shown Quezon, and find out what ties the movies together.
We head to Spain to visit one of the most renowned interior decorators, Lorenzo Castillo, to enter his world and appreciate some of the works he has done over the years. I first came upon his work years ago when I stayed at the Santo Mauro hotel in Madrid (which used to be the Philippine embassy in Spain) and was awed by his work. He is planning to come to Manila, so this is an excellent way of introducing him to you, our readers. We also highlight photographer Sandra Zobel’s recent trip to the Arctic Circle, where she shares her favourite photos from her incredible expedition.
