We catch up with the MD and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, after the second annual conference where the company announced 10 new models coming to India this year

What would be the mix of new cars coming in? Will this largely be AMG led since you do have almost a complete portfolio (barring the B Class/GLB) of non-AMG cars in India already?

I would think it will be a very healthy mix we’ll have as I have already mentioned. At the top end, the Maybach is coming then we have electric space the top end vehicles, basically with EQS then we’ll have obviously that’s also a very logical assumption will come with the C class in the course of the year. The current model has run out. So if you look at what’s already going across all the subgrants AMG we will also do so I think across the range, a good representation and also models which contribute to the volume. So it does not only say niche products, we really talk about volume products as well.

Your India website also indicates the EQE and the EQB in addition to the EQS, (is this gauging consumer interest?) or does this mean these two cars will also make an appearance soon?
