Once again, MW Performance invited ow ners of Vauxhall V8s to come together for a day of fun in Chester...

VXR sales, tuning and service specialist, MW Performance, recently opened its workshop doors to the large number of its customers lucky enough to own an HSV-derived V8-powered Griffin. Close to forty of the most powerful production cars to ever wear a Vauxhall badge were in attendance, including Kev Carrington’s VXR8 E2 GTS (K7 HSV), a 6.2-litre brute originally owned by racing driver, team boss and HSV tuning supremo, Tom Walkinshaw.

Visitors to the Performance Vauxhall stand at this year’s PVS and Fast Car Festival will recognise Paul McManus’s immaculate green VXR8 GTS (H5V VF), while other four-door bruisers of note at MWP included Neil Harker’s supercharged blue belter (M333 EGA), a car so well presented that it won its owner a ‘Car of the Day’ trophy.
