Young welshman seth morris just finished in the top 20 of the world in the under-16 division at the vissla world junior games. After such a great achievement we thought we'd better catch up with young man from haverfordwest.
How old are you now?
I just turned 16 at the end of August. I live on the coast in the village of Broad Haven. Closest town is Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. So my surf spots are Whitesands, Freshwater West, Manobier and the Welsh wedge.
So you just ended up highest placed English surfer at the Vissla junior world champs how does that feel?
It feels pretty good. Unreal. Of course you have to believe you can do it but when it actually happens its a great feeling. You always feel you could have gone further. But I’m super stoked with that result and I’m happy that it meant a lot to the people who support me. It has certainly given me confidence going forward.
It looks like pretty cool squad. definitely some talent in there, and I guess you all get on like a house on fire?
