Pulsifi uses data science, psychology and technology to find the right people, Business Today finds out more
All organisations have people issues – from big conglomerates to smaller SMEs. The biggest challenge is finding people and finding the right people.
An HR recruiter relies on applicants’ CVs, interviews and judgement of personality traits. It is a daunting task when the recruiter goes through hundreds of applications for just one role in the organisation.
In an interview with Business Today, Pulsifi founders Peter Yoong and Jay Huang share their insights on how big data and artificial intelligence help organisations find the right talent.
Peter Yoong is a pioneer in digital advertising and an active angel investor who imparts his experience and knowledge on digital exploration while Jay Huang, an Ivy League graduate, is equipped with a strong background in consultancy on critical and analytical approaches to human resources.
They believe that every talent has a potential for greatness, a belief that has led to the founding of Pulsifi.
Pulsifi is a predictive people analytics platform which focuses on understanding people using a multi-dimensional approach. The machine automatically generates integrated profiles of people to enable executives and HR teams of organisations to make better-informed, datadriven decisions on hiring talent.
Its data sources include current employee and candidate data, a suite of researched psychometric assessments, and social media.
People are the most important asset, they are the heart of every organisation. What do we need to look for in hiring talent to help organisations become great?
“When we first started Pulsifi, we interviewed CEOs and CHROs to find out, what makes a good candidate? Most of them would say, passion, a team player, leadership qualities and great communicator,” Yoong shares.
