‘I will never ever speak to Chloe again!'

Ella Rae Wise on falling out with Chloe Brockett, the new series of TOWIE and her blossoming romance with Tom McDonnell

She’s one of my co-stars on TOWIE, so I couldn’t wait to get Ella Rae Wise on the blower to talk all things drama and romance.

The 19-year-old burst onto the Essex scene last year and has faced more than her fair share of agg with her fellow cast members, especially with former pal Chloe Brockett.

When I call her, hairdresser Ella has been rushed off her feet at her hair studio. “It’s been manic all day,” she tells me.

We get straight into a good old goss about everything TOWIE-related and neither of us can believe how much drama there’s already been on the new series.

“There’s been so much agg,” Ella says. “For no one to have seen one another and have agg straight away, it’s crazy. But that’s Essex for you.”

Here, Ella tells me how her TOWIE journey has been so far and why she doesn’t want to make her romance with Tom McDonnell official – yet…

Hi Ella! How are you finding this series of TOWIE?

It’s been much better than the last one for me. I’ve got the hang of it, if you know what I mean.

How have you found filming with the Covid guidelines?

Even with the event days, no one’s there. You just go at your time with whoever your scene’s with and stay two metres away from them. It’s weird because we haven’t seen anyone and the first thing you want to do is go up and hug them and say, “How’ve you been?”, like you normally would, but we can’t. It’s so strange.
