After having her first baby, Nora, in March 2024, Paige Chohan knew she wanted to get back on track with her fitness. About eight weeks after giving birth, she overhauled her lifestyle, introducing regular weight-training sessions and switching up her diet. The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star says it helped her to feel herself again. Six months later, Paige has lost almost 3st and says she couldn't be happier about the results.
"I definitely feel the best I've ever felt in my life," Paige tells new. "The minute Nora was born, I was itching to get back into fitness. I did gain a lot of weight and that's probably down to feeling like crap during pregnancy.
You just want to eat anything and everything you can possibly get your hands on. I thought it was fine and I was just enjoying the moment, but then the weight creeps on. The next minute you go on the scale and you're 3st heavier and nothing fits youthat was a bit of a shock." Paige, 33, says she had been passionate about fitness and strength training for around five years so it was "quite ingrained" in her lifestyle. During her pregnancy, she felt it was the first time in her life that she wasn't really training. "I did attempt to start for the first four or five months and then it just felt a bit hard, especially when you feel heavier, so I did pause," she says.
After giving birth, Paige was eager to step back into the gym - for her mental health, as well as to improve her fitness.
"Once you give birth, your body changes so much," she says. "After I had Nora, I felt I needed to get back in the gym as soon as possible.
