The gorgeous hunk, whose wife, fellow ‘Oaks graduate Claire Cooper, is expecting their first child, is heading up the cast of Channel 5’s The Deceived, in which he plays an adulterous professor with a very dark side.
The show is written by Lisa McGee, the creator of one of our fave comedies of recent times, Derry Girls. As Lisa made the shift from sitcom to thriller, Emmett was keen to get on board and we can see why.
Telling the story of student Ophelia, who falls in love with Emmett’s married character, Michael, before a tragic death interrupts the affair, this drama will inevitably have us gripped when it airs next month.
