She’s been through some of the toughest months of her life that saw her reach rock bottom, but Katie Price is back and feeling better than ever. The mum-of-five checked into The Priory for four weeks in January after admitting to taking cocaine to “numb the pain” following a string of personal woes. Speaking on her reality show My Crazy Life, Katie admitted, “I’ve been to hell and back, but I’m starting to feel like me again.”
It’s been three months since she left and it’s clear that Katie is in a much better place when we catch up with her for a chat. An upbeat and positive Katie tells new, “This is a new me and a fresh start. It’s all about new beginnings now.” And part of her new attitude means she’s putting the past behind her and letting go of any grudges she once held – including with her exes. In fact, she says that she’s getting on better than ever with Peter Andre, the father of her children Junior, 14, and Princess, 13, and Kieran Hayler, who is dad to Jett, six, and Bunny, five.
Katie is single following her split from fiancé Kris Boyson last November after she cheated on him with toyboy Charles Drury. While he’s now dating Bianca Gascoigne, Katie says she’s not looking for love – but wants to keep her next man out of the public eye.
Instead, the 42-year-old is focusing on her career and is enjoying some down-time in lockdown with her son Harvey, who turns 18 this week. She says, “I love it. It’s been quite nice. I’m doing lots more cooking.
Before this I was eating out a lot, so I’m just enjoying doing that. I’m quite a homely person anyway.”
Here, Katie opens up about feeling stronger than ever, her mum Amy’s health after she was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition in 2017 and her dreams of rebuilding the Pricey empire…
