Police captain Jerry Maake (Shona Ferguson) and his cop partner Vuyi swa (Zandile Msutwana) started 2019 with a bang. Besides tying the knot in an intimate ceremony in January, they took in Vuyi’s niece Akhona (Khanya Mkangisa) whose mother died in a car accident on their way to the wedding. Little did the newly married couple know that Akhona would cause them sleepless nights – she started dating drugdealer Kagiso Khoza (Loyiso MacDonald) in June while the detective pair were still investigating him. Akhona refused to dump him until Vuyi and Jerry caught Kagiso’s Khoza family and the Mabuzas transporting bags of cocaine at the airport soon after.
