Barbie's Dance Dilemma

In this story, Barbie has a lot of different things to deal with ahead of the school dance

1 The school dance is coming up and Ken tells Barbie he’s nervous about asking a girl. Barbie thinks he’s going to ask her, but the bell rings before they can finish their conversation.

2 Meanwhile, Trey is upset that Daisy is DJing again. “What about me? I’m the best-looking guy in school. I deserve some attention…” Tammy agrees that they should get the chance to perform. One of the Dudes suggests they form a band. When they bring it up, Barbie agrees to hold auditions.

3 After school, Ken comes to the stables where Barbie is grooming her favourite horse. It turns out Harriet is the girl he wants to ask to the dance. Barbie is shocked.

4 Later that evening, Daisy is at the Dreamhouse practising for her audition. She pushes the levels too far and her audio interface blows up. Barbie goes upstairs to see if she can borrow one from Skipper, but Skipper is cross with Barbie for not telling her about the auditions. “I found out about it when everyone else did. Not like my own sister told me…” says Skipper. Barbie apologises, saying she just hadn’t thought about it, but Skipper is still cross.
