In front of the camera, Kylie is a maven. Her several years of experience in modeling combined with her queenly command shows in every pose and in every piercing gaze. You can wait for her to lose character in between shots, but it will just be in vain. But for us, being the geeks that we are, nothing is lovelier than a lady who has a good head on her shoulders.

Smart and sensible is the most concise way to describe Kylie. She’s soft-spoken but oozing with passion. Her eyes fire up when she talks about her advocacy and she doesn’t skimp on her laughter and smile.

The Miss International crown will soon sit on another deserving lady’s head, but we are sure that Kylie will continue to rule the hearts of fans and admirers she has captured.

Kylie is the perfect cover girl for Speed’s Photography issue. Not only is she an expert at being in front of the camera as a model, Kylie also has a growing passion for photography herself.

How do you prepare for shoots like this and fashion shows?

It depends on what the show, the project, or the shoot is. First and foremost, [you have to remember that] you are a model. It’s dependent on how you look, so you have to take care of your body. You diet, if you need to. Take care of your skin and hair. Mentally, you have to prepare for what the client is looking for--what do they want you to project or what the mood is going to be like? Also, make sure to get a good night’s rest. Be responsible that you don’t go out too late at night, so you are fresh for the next day.

What gets you in the zone when modeling in front of the camera?

I guess it’s all about feeling good and portraying the character you want to portray. It also helps if there’s encouragement or direction from the photographer, meaning, in sync kayo with what you guys want.
