With Chesterfield’s famous Crooked Spire the focal point, more than 80 fully-decorated Christmas trees will be on display to get the family well and truly into the festive spirit from November 14. 3 CHRISTMAS GREAT RIDGE GUIDED WALK, CASTLETON Christmas and walking definitely go hand in hand. This popular six-mile yomp, led by a professional guide, begins at Castleton and follows an easy route to the stunning Mam Tor.
