Would-be singer Dennis, 65, has been hoping to boost his music career by having Tanya, 60, wail a tune he penned for her upcoming country album, insiders dish.

But the actor and the Texas Tornado have also been inseparable outside the recording studio, hitting the party scene and red carpet events.

“Dennis calls Tanya a real firecracker who keeps him laughing — and Tanya admits she’s had a crush on him almost since the day they met!” dishes a friend. “It’s really blossoming into something romantic.”
