When and why did you start pursuing your passion?

After I completed junior college, I wanted to be in a profession that allowed me to really change the lives of people, and medicine was the ideal choice.

How does it feel knowing your profession can impact others’ lives?

My job has a direct impact on my patient’s lives; I’m happy knowing that my decisions and actions can make them feel much better, reassured or in less pain.

What were your aspirations when you started this career?

I started out wanting to save the world, but now I feel happy with saving one life at a time.

How do you empower others to make an impact in the lives of others?

Teaching, I’m involved in teaching medical students and young doctors to improve themselves, so that they can save others.

What is a positive impact you create with your job?

Knowing that every small action, though it may seem insignificant to me, means the world to the patients and their family.

It is not so much about what I do or say to people. Ultimately, it is the feeling they get when they interact with me.
