A socially motivated person since her early teens, Sanjanaa Jon is often noted for her social concern Land her activities to promote the recognition of the unrecognised.

Sanjanaa believes in propagating the concept of fashion with heart which was something she started working on for all her charitable causes including relentlessly working on water conservation and planting trees.

The Journey

Women Empowerment and 'BetiBachaoBetiPadhao' are just two of the causes she has worked on since 2004 and she is also associated with the Ministry of Women and Child Development. She has adopted and takes care of more than 300 street dogs of which around 50 are housed in her home and she is against using leather in fashion and refuses to incorporate it in her collections.

Sanjanaa actively works for Thalassemia awareness as well as environment and water protection. The socially concerned Sanjanaa also carried out the first Sanjanaa Jon Creative Tihar Show and conducted a constructive training programme to make jail inmates a more resourceful part of the community.

Her journey has been an exemplary one. A Fashionista as well as a Philanthropist who is very close to her roots as she understands the significance of being a woman. Her modern frame of mind aligns her values with the current lifestyle. Through fashion, she aims to bring about social change.
