The range of technology for your home is astounding and it’s changing how we live. Here we explore some of the latest devices and technologies that will have your home running smoother and smarter than ever.

Smart Living!

Appliances

Our trusty household appliances are getting more and more intelligent with time, from robot vacuum cleaners, fridges that check their own contents and WiFi enabled washing machines. These technologically advanced appliances are designed to make your life easier and more convenient.

The Samsung Family Hub Multi door fridge freezer (fig.1) has three built-in cameras and will let you see what is inside your fridge from anywhere. So if you are in the supermarket and can’t remember if you have run out of milk, simply use your phone to check inside your fridge. Not only that, but this fridge freezer also digitally keeps track of your food’s expiry dates and a notification will be displayed on the fridge’s screen to let you know; you can search through thousands of recipes using the ingredients in your fridge and even write notes using the touch screen display. Clever!

WiFi plays a vital role in our modern homes, and appliances are no exception these days. Hoover (fig.2) has a whole range of WiFi controlled appliances that are perfect for those non-stop days, when you are out and about but still need to put on a wash. Using the Wizard app means you can control Hoover’s Wizard oven, hob, dishwasher or washing machine and keep your home running from wherever you are.
