The Hello hitmaker confessed that her 100lbs weight loss over two years was caused by anxiety, as she posed for the UK and US editions of the magazine.
The star, 33, said: “It was because of my anxiety. Working out, I would just feel better.
“It was never about losing weight, it was always about becoming strong and giving myself as much time every day without my phone.
“I got quite addicted to it. I work out two or three times a day.”
The Tottenham-born singer, who is mother to eight-year-old Angelo, candidly described how she left her charity chief executive husband Simon Konecki, 47, because the marriage “wasn’t right for [her] anymore”.
