ENGLAND Test ace Jack Leach has put counties on red alert after admitting that he too would consider a loan move away from Somerset in order to gain some much-needed white-ball game time.

Ousted Leach May Consider Loan Deal

The left-arm spinner, currently on duty with England's Test squad in the West Indies, has not played a white-ball match for Somerset since 2015.

And speaking to the Press in the build-up to the third Test in St Lucia, Leach revealed that a temporary move away from Taunton for this year’s Royal London One-Day Cup competition could be on the cards if his one-day exile continues.

“That’s a potential option and one I might look at,” said the 27year-old, who, along with fellow spinners Dom Bess and Max Waller, has been edged out of contention by top Netherlands specialist Roelof van der Merwe.
