They are talented experts who painstakingly create beautiful works of art on nails. They reproduce their client’s inimitable uniqueness while combining their own creativity with the latest trends in fashion, resulting in a nail art masterpiece. We spoke to a few of them to figure out what’s being nailed in the artsy world of perfect hands.

Recent years have seen a growing craze for nail art. From high-end salons dealing only in nail services to take-home kits, nail art has become a huge pop culture phenomenon. Celebrities and models alike are sporting crazy trends on the red carpet as well as the runway, and now you can spot these in-vogue talons on almost everybody. The upcoming festivities are now calling for ladies to spruce up their nails with the help of the best nail artists their city has to offer.

Mehul Dhamne, owner, Lure Nails Pune, tells us about the latest trends to hit his salon. “From French manicures to 3D nail art, our salon offers it all. For the latest festivities, we are offering different shades of holographic glitter, 3D and 2D designs. We also have the latest techniques in nail art, such as water marble, ombre and sculpting, all of which our clients love. We have a huge demand of reds, pinks and nudes with a glitter base.”

Backing up Dhamne’s claim is marketing professional Shilpa Rao. She states, “In my profession, it is important for us to look well- groomed. Going to the salon for a manicure every week is difficult because of my hectic work schedule, so I prefer to go for nail art that lasts for a minimum of two weeks.”
