Sherrie Hewson ‘It’s like we’re being taught a lesson…’
Why Sherrie Hewson believes we will all learn from the COVID-19 crisis…
How are you, dear friend?
I am isolating completely, so can’t see my daughter and grandchildren, who are my life. They FaceTime me every day.
My brother Brett has a brain tumour. He lives in Wales. They had to take him out of hospital because they needed his bed. My sister-in-law couldn’t have him at home because he needs aid, so he’s gone to a home. Apparently, it’s a lovely room. I can’t see him, but I send him funny videos of guinea pigs that my granddaughter left with me.
A silver lining from guinea pigs?
That’s a first! They’re a nightmare! The pair of them are growing like dogs and they poop everywhere in my utility room – but they’re company, especially because the pain in my heart from being separated is unbelievable.
What prompted you to start the Wonderbirds show on Facebook and YouTube?
It features my mates Harriet Thorpe, Debbie Anderson and Sylvia and Gerry Anderson’s daughter Dee Anderson, hence the play on Thunderbirds. We were all talking anyway, and we thought we’d open our chats up to everyone. It’s been emotional. But there’s silliness and fun, too, and special guests.
