For Eamonn Holmes, health is something that has been a constant struggle in recent years. From a double hip replacement to hearing loss and weight battles, the 60-year-old presenter has had a lot to deal with. And after recently admitting that he’s increasingly thinking about his late father who died of a heart attack aged just 64, Eamonn’s wife Ruth Langsford, who’s also 60, is now urging him to take better care of himself by focusing on his diet.
PREPPING LIKE A BOSS
Ruth is known for her love of prepping healthy food for busy working days. But while Eamonn never usually joins her, recently Ruth claimed that he was jealous of her nutritious meals.
Sharing pictures of her prepped tomato, egg and ham breakfast and chicken salad lunch on Instagram, Ruth said, ‘Eamonn had food envy so I’ve made him some too.’
Ruth has admitted in the past that she likes to make sure her husband eats well and is looked after because she worries about the effect his busy schedule might have on him and his health, saying, ‘I sort out his food and make sure he’s in bed on time, that he’s going to have clean sheets and I’ve made a lovely dinner.’

'THAT'S NOT MY BABY'
Lying in the hospital bed, my husband Michael had tears of happiness in his eyes as he showed me a photo on his phone. 'Here she is,' he said proudly. 'This is our beautiful baby girl.'I stared at the photo and shook my head. 'No, that's not my baby,' I said. 'There must be a mistake.'It was August 2010 and I'd not long before had an emergency caesarean. I'd not had a chance to see Winnie when she arrived as she'd been whisked away for tests because she was nearly two months premature.
