Talking about books can be as fun as reading them – it deepens friendships and will broaden your reading list. Here are a few simple steps to get you started.

What’s your aim?

It’s important to know what type of book club you’re setting up. Is your goal to read, to socialise or both? To learn something new or focus on a specific genre, such as classics or thrillers? This is something to agree early on, and you could change the theme every six months or so.
