After a record-breaking career, the tennis great has lost everything

Boris Becker GAME, SET JAIL TIME!

He was the youngest player to win Wimbledon and 1968 million during his stellar tennis career, but now Boris Becker is in prison, having lost it all.

The six-times Gram Slam winner is a week into serving two-and-a-half years after being found guilty of committing fraud worth $4.5 million.

The 54-year-old tennis champ is yet to comment on his dramatic fall from grace but his lawyer told the court before sentencing his client was now left with “nothing” despite his four decades of sporting stardom.

“Boris Becker has literally nothing and there is nothing to show for what was the most glittering of sporting careers," said Jonathan Laidlow QC. “It is nothing short of a tragedy."

Found guilty of four insolvency charges related to his 2017 bankruptcy, Boris was accused of hiding millions of dollars worth of assets, including two of his Wimbledon trophies, to avoid paying off debts.

LAVISH LIFESTYLE

Having already been convicted of tax evasion in Germany 20 years ago, Boris told the London jury at this most recent court battle that his earnings had been swallowed up by an expensive divorce from his first wife Barbara, child maintenance payments, and "expensive lifestyle commitments”.
