Jonathan Rea took his maiden pole with Yamaha while Nicholas Spinelli took his maiden World Superbike Championship (WSBK) Race win and Ducati made it a one-two in the Superpole Race while Toprak Razgatlioglu gave BMW their first win at Assen
THE WEEKEND KICKED off with Toprak Razgatlioglu of ROKIT BMW Motorrad WSBK Team and Alvaro Bautista and Nicolo Bulega of Aruba.it Racing Ducati setting the fastest times in FPI, FP2, and FP3 respectively.
On Saturday, Jonathan Rea took his maiden pole with Pata Prometeon Yamaha, making use of the wet but drying conditions at the TT circuit. Rookie Bulega was behind him, with Toprak completing the podium. Three different manufacturers were present in the front row.
