After launching power scooters, cruiser motorcycles and a small-capacity retro-themed motorcycle, Keeway has added two 300cc motorcycles to the portfolio in the form of the K300 N and K300 R. We got our hands on the latter which is a fully-faired 300cc motorcycle that aims to challenge rivals such as the BMW G 310 RR, Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM RC390 and the TVS Apache RR 310. Does the K300 R have enough to take on these proven supersports?
The sub-400cc segment features a slew of great-looking motorcycles, each of them looks attractive from any angle and I can't think of any that is better than the other. The K300 R too is unique and very appealing to the eye, especially when you see it here in pics. The front DRL surrounds the fairing and creates a signature look, especially when the sun goes down and the LED lamps are sleek. The front fairing blends seamlessly into the sides which gets a neat crease and the trellis frame is half exposed despite the fairing which adds to the styling too. The exhaust sits near the underbelly. Move to the rear and you will notice that the subframe sweeps up quite high and is a typical supersport with a compact rear seat. Another signature is the large LED taillight that catches everyone's attention especially when it's dark, thanks to the design and light pattern. The K300 R also gets multi-spoke wheels that are slim and the sticky rubber offers a slightly lower profile and width making it look slightly less bulky than its rivals. Overall, the K300 R is inspired by the best Italian and Japanese designs.
