Rumer Willis always knew she was destined to be a mum, so when she welcomed her daughter Louetta Isley Thomas Willis into the world via a home birth in April 2023 "everything really clicked into place". "It was exactly what I thought it would be," Rumer, the eldest daughter of Hollywood legend Bruce Willis and actress Demi Moore, told People in late March while on set for Cleobella's "Do It Like a Mother" campaign. It wasn't plain-sailing though.

"My mum had me when she was 25, so I think as 25 started approaching and I had no boyfriend, I was like, 'Oh my God.' Then 30 hit, and I kept telling everyone, 'Well, maybe I'll just do it by myself.' I could feel like her little spirit around me and so knew that that was my path," she explained. "When I would share that with people, even when I was in my late twenties, they were like, 'You're so young. You have so much time. What's the rush?' I'd be like, 'No, no.You don’t understand. This is it for me.’” They’re candid words from Rumer, who started dating musician Derek Richard Thomas in 2022 and announced they were expecting in December of that same year. And there’s little doubt that the importance of family is something that’s been ingrained in the Willis/ Moore children since their parents split.
