We finally get to sit down and talk to Parris La Dame. How you been? What you been up to?

I have been very good. I’ve been blessed. I been working my ass off, trying to get this music out to my fans. Everybody been wanting new music, I’ve got so much music right now. I don’t know what to do with it. 

You said you been working it off, but I feel like you got a little thicker since we met you. 

I’ve gotten thicker?! I’ve been trying! It ain’t been the pickles that did it. It’s me ripping and running. I think it’s because I’ve been on the road eating fast food. Then, I get home eating nothing, but home food - cook cook cook. So, my life really right now has been music, money, and food. I’m glad you said that. I’m going to take that to head because I’ve been waiting on somebody to tell me that. 

You been cooking? What you be cooking?

A little bit of everything. You know I get saucy in the kitchen. I cook a little bit of everything, but my favorite to make is salmon. I’m a salmon eater. Salmon, rice, mashed potatoes, broccoli - anything like that, I like. 

What is your thing with pickles? 

I just like them. I don’t know what it is. It’s like a craving. Ironically, I’m not the only one. A lot of people have been hitting me up now that I’ve embraced the fact I like pickles and post about it. It’s a lot of pickle eaters around and they’re all eating pickles like me. I don’t know where it came from, but I’ve always just loved pickles. You can make them, sell them. When I’m drinking liquor, it’s a pickle back shot. I just like pickles.
