Now, it is ready to ship. After the hard work of making beautiful candles, packaging that will protect them during shipping is a top priority. It is disappointing to a customer to receive a broken and unusable candle after loving buying it, and then waiting for it to arrive, so here are seven great ways to protect candles during shipping to ensure they arrive unbroken and ready to use.
Customize the following ideas to suit your unique brand.
Fabric bags
Fabric drawstring bags are a great way to add a light layer of packaging to container candles that look good and elevate your brand. For example, buy pre-printed bags or use a stamp to get your logo on the packaging. Fabrics like cotton and organza are common materials for drawstring bags. Alternatively, choose a bag that does not have a drawstring, but possesses another way to keep the candle inside the bag. The appeal of fabric bags is that they are reusable, so customers can repurpose them to store other items. Cotton and other plant-based bags are also biodegradable, making them eco-friendly choices.
Bubble wrap
Bubble wrap is one of the most protective types of packaging available for candles. It is also lightweight, which helps keep shipping charges down. The drawback, of course, is that it is made of plastic and some consumers prefer eco-friendly packaging. Fortunately, bubble wrap made from recycled materials is available and a good alternative. Another idea is to recycle bubble wrap by dropping it off at a local recycling center that can process the material.
