PAMPER YOURSELF WITH DIY Skincare

1 Smoothing Honey Lip Scrub

Exfoliating scrubs aren't just for the body: Stir together this simple lip buffer from Gina Marí, an aesthetician in Los Angeles, to silken lips.

1 tsp coconut oil

1 tsp honey

2 Tbsp raw sugar

Dash of lemon juice

Mix the ingredients together in a small bowl. Using a new toothbrush, apply the scrub in a gentle circular motion. Rinse off and follow up with lip balm.

2 Clarifying Tea Face Toner

Cook up an anti-inflammatory white-tea toner courtesy of Jennifer Yen, creator of Yensa and Purlisse Beauty, to purify and calm skin.

1 tsp peppermint tea leaves

4 tsp white tea leaves

1/2 cup distilled water, boiled

2 drops lavender oil

Aloe vera gel

Combine all the ingredients except aloe vera gel in a French press. Let steep 10 minutes; pour into a glass container to cool. Pour the mixture into a 4-oz spray bottle; add enough aloe to fill. Refrigerate, then spritz on face.

3 Brightening Oatmeal Face Scrub
