Nevertheless it sold very well for the last 14 years, while staying almost unchanged. The new one, on the other hand, experienced an incredible transformation. It looks absolutely stunning now.
The first ones off the line, aptly named 'First Edition, featured the iconic round headlights, honouring the Land Cruiser heritage going all the way back to 1951. Not unexpectedly, those First Editions sold out even before hitting the showroom floors. The rectangular, 'normal' headlight models (VX-R and FX) don't look bad either.
