Montel hops off bench for glory
TWO GOALS from their top scorer Montel Gibson ensured AFC Telford United maintained their play-off push.
Victory, which keeps the Bucks firmly in the top five, pleased boss Kevin Wilkin as his side rebounded from defeat.
"I'm very happy with the three points today," Wilkin said. "First and foremost the way we stood up to it. Stamford are a strong, physical outfit who do ask questions of you and they've had some good moments.
"I'm delighted for Montel. He was disappointed to come out of the side but he's knuckled down." Stamford manager Graham Drury was left to rue what he felt was his team's own contribution to the Bucks' victory.
