Towel tycoon sues son over £2.2million home

A TOWELS tycoon is wrapped up in a legal fight over a £2.2million country mansion plus £300,000 of contents that he says were "flogged" or dumped by his youngest son.

Michael Parker claims he "gave everything" to Thomas ParkerBowyer but is suing him over sevenbed The House in Bourne End, Bucks, which Thomas insists is his.

Mr Parker, 60, lived at the ranchstyle home until 2019 when he signed it over to Thomas for inheritance tax reasons, he says.

Trespass

The businessman, whose firm sold luxury Turkish towels to hotels such as the Dorchester, later fell out with Thomas. They are suing over ownership of the property and furnishings which include £40,000 of gym gear.
