INQUIRY INTO FATALITIES AT CHEPSTOW

THE British Horseracing Authority is to hold a probe into three equine fatalities at Chepstow on Thursday.

The Tom Lacey-trained Macfin, Sheila Lewis’ Fashion's Model and the Robbie Llewellyn-saddled Coal Fire all suffered fatal injuries in separate races on the Monmouthshire track's card.

Preliminary enquiries have revealed no common link between the three deaths, but “a detailed review of each incident” will now follow.
