Put it this way, if you had told me at the start of October that Rangers might be about to go two points clear of Celtic with a game in hand heading into the split, I would have hung up the phone.
And then blocked your number for being in cloud cuckoo land.
I still remember sitting at Ibrox watching Aberdeen score three goals and thinking to myself, 'Oh my God, this is an absolute shambles. Where do they go from here?'. But here we are, six months on, and I truly believe they are on the verge of winning back the title.
As much as I try not to get ahead of myself, I do feel strongly that whoever wins Sunday's Old Firm game will go on to wrap up the championship.
And, in all honesty, I feel even stronger that it's going to be my old club.
Yes, I do realise it could be a damp squib of a match and end up as a boring draw. But every part of me truly believes it's going to be the exact opposite.
I'm fully expecting both teams to go hell for leather at one another in a full throttle, good old-fashioned dust-up and, for the life of me, I can't shake the feeling that Rangers will end up coming out on top once the dust has settled.
Anyone who reads this column regularly will know that it's not like me to be so confident. I'm always wary of making big predictions because they have a tendency to come back and bite you right on the a***! But there's something about Philippe Clement and his side which tells me this is their moment.
