ROAD RAGE ATTACKER FORCED ME TO RETIRE

AN OAP left scarred for life in a terrifying road-rage incident has told how "justice has been served" after his attacker was jailed.

Cyclist Duncan Ronaldson, 67, was rammed by a Vauxhall Astra driven by stranger Craig McComb, 37, in August 2022.

The smash, on the A92 in Glenrothes, Fife, caused the grandad to crash to the ground after McComb's bonnet locked with Duncan's e-bike, leading him to skid around five metres.

imageDuncan suffered a series of horrific injuries which left his collar bone "floating in his body".

McComb was locked up for three years and eight months last week after a judge ruled he had used his car as a "weapon".

Duncan, from Glenrothes, told how he had been left suffering from PTSD and has since had to retire from his job.

He told the Record: "My life has been changed dramatically by this incident, I have been left physically and mentally scarred for life. It was terrifying.

"My brain has blanked out a lot of it because of the trauma.

"I didn't know McComb, he was a complete stranger to me. This was solely down to road rage and it has left me unable to work again.

"I had to retire early because I can no longer work; the physical demands would just be too much for me now.
