Robbo: Dons can cope with catch-up

WE AREN'T LIVIN' ON A PRAYER

ABERDEEN have had a gruelling first half of the season but Barry Robson knows it will be just as intense after the break as they play Premiership catch-up.

The Dons, who take on St Mirren tomorrow, have had to juggle the demands of domestic and European football up until Christmas.

They are now focused on the league but back-to-back cancellations against Dundee and Motherwell have meant the Dons are now four games behind some of their top-flight rivals.

Robson's side will look to put a run together like he did when he came in at the start of this year, which saw the Dons go from the bottom half all the way to third place.

The Pittodrie boss said: "It looks like we'll be going the same again for the back end of the season as we've a lot of matches to catch up.

"We were desperate to play against Motherwell on Wednesday but when you see roads being shut, you can't take chances with people's safety.
