JOSS Stone once had a lucky escape after shaking off a crazed stranger in hot pursuit of her motor.

Events took an unnerving turn while the Grammy winner was visiting the island of Madagascar, off the coast of Africa.

"Someone tried to chase our car and kill us," Joss told me, sarcastically adding: "That was funny.

"He was on foot. That was a crazy time. He could never catch our car, we were fine, but he was angry, very angry.
