HE is the only man alive to have scored the winning goal at Wembley for Newcastle against Liverpool.

But Neil McDonald admits he sometimes has to be reminded of his unique achievement.

"Blimey," he says. "I bet most fans have forgotten about me, let alone that goal!"

Probably not.

The former England Under-21s international played more than 200 games for his hometown club alongside the likes of Kevin Keegan, Peter Beardsley and Chris Waddle.
