JORGINHO SAYS ARSENAL DO NOT FEAR FACING HAALAND ON SUNDAY
JORGINHO insists Arsenal are not fazed by Erling Haaland’s blistering start to the season ahead of Sunday’s showdown with Manchester City.
Haaland has hit nine goals in four Premier League matches and Jorginho admits the Arsenal squad are simply laughing at his run of form.
Having beaten Tottenham 1-0 in the north London derby on Sunday, Arsenal travel to the Etihad looking to become the first team to stop Haaland scoring in the top-flight this season.
But centre-backs Gabriel Magalhaes and William Saliba have also started the campaign in excellent form and the Gunners are yet to concede a goal.
Jorginho said: “Erling scoring again… it is starting to make us laugh!
“We look [at what he is doing] because we look at all the games and we love football. We love the Premier League so we watch all the games. We watch City as well, which is normal. It doesn’t get into our head. We need to focus on us and that is what we are trying to do.”
